This couple wanted to infuse their four-day celebration with as much local flavor as possible.They began with a shaman-led sunrise for the wedding party, setting intention. For the welcome party, the group of 100 headed to Gitano, Tulum’s famous gypsy-jungle beachside restaurant/lounge. Day two began with rooftop yoga and meditation, and a rehearsal dinner at their host hotel, Zorba Villas. The wedding ceremony and reception took place on the beach at Chiringuito Tulum Hotel, next to their hotel, with a ceremony, dining tables and lounge all set up in the sand. In lieu of a cake cutting, they had a giant wedding cake pinata full of fun party supplies.The live band was followed by a water drum show, fire dancers and an epic dance party led by local DJ Dulce Rullan.
