Seeking a whimsical celebration, Anna and Jacob used Alice in Wonderland as the inspiration for their destination wedding. Villa Bokéh provided a unique sense of place, with hacienda style and six acres of gardens, and a complete buyout gave them privacy. The week started off with an open mic night at a local restaurant, where this talented group of artists entertained one another. At brunch the next day, a shaman blessed the couple and held a clearing and intentions ceremony for all. The rehearsal dinner was held in the ruins of an old church, reflecting the history of Antigua. They wanted a colorful wedding celebration that felt surreal and magical, and Villa Bokeh delivered. An explosion of bright-colored blooms in shades of pink, purple, yellow and orange transforming the gardens into a fragrant wonderland. They exchanged vows with the backdrop of a majestic volcano, and followed it with an all-out cocktail style reception featuring multiple DJs and an epic dance party. A recovery pool party the next day capped the events, and set a restorative tone for the return to the real world.
